Obama, McCain Sweep In Potomac Primaries - WSJ.com
"Mr. Obama won weekend contests in Louisiana, Nebraska, Washington state, Maine and the Virgin Islands, but with the Democratic nomination fight more dependent upon delegate counts than the popular vote, neither Mr. Obama nor Mrs. Clinton can claim front-runner status.
According to RealClearPolitics.com, which tracks delegate counts, Mr. Obama maintained a slight lead Tuesday with 1,231 total delegates to 1,196 for Mrs. Clinton. However, Mrs. Clinton leads in superdelegates, the 796 elected and party officials who will cast votes at the August Democratic National Convention. Mrs. Clinton has 242 superdelegates to 156 for Mr. Obama.
Tuesday's further losses darken the cloud over the Clinton campaign, which has come under scrutiny following Mrs. Clinton's weekend defeats and a campaign shake-up Sunday that saw her replace longtime aide and campaign manager, Patti Solis Doyle, as well as deputy campaign manager Mike Henry, who resigned Monday."
